I saw the T shirt on the other day. it turned out the letters were too small. so i changed the font size.

I kind of like this one better than other ones.

the top one is what it really looks like and the second one is what I resized with photoshop(didnt touch colors, contrast or anything)

hmm i guess my new year's resolution would be "get used to photoshop"!

2 designs

so im trying to design an image for a someone works at comparative lit dept at my school and choosing between these 2... the letters are in different sizes, too.

Its almost the end of semester so i have been pretty busy recently but i an thiking about submitting something to my school's competition.
I will be adding some words on both using mac (new machine!!) later.

Darth Vader Mask

I started working on the Darth Vader Mask for a toy store display near my apt. it was a lifesize black plastic mask( as the Darth Vader looks.of course!) so i wanted to make it into something totally opposite like cute and fairy. I picked this horrible baby green color as its base color...which i found cute and ugly at the same time and then explord more pale colors.
I'm not done with this yet but will hopefully be done with it by this Sunday!

This is life size mask...here i am trying it on before its been painted!

planting poster project

so i've been working on a vegetable planting poster for little kids with my classmate.
My part is to draw 22 different kinds of vegetables. Each stack has about 10 of the same images.(i photocopied them and colored them in)

a felt sculpture

for my sculpture class. its a stump made of felt :)

here are some extra ones i didnt use for my project. they were fun to make!

using felt was really time consuming!

i had to keep poking wool(shown at the bottom) with this felting needle. for me it was about 40 mins to make this ball(about 1 inch).

so the whole sculpture took me forever...!

I wonder why strawberries are on sale now...its not really a strawberry season. hmm

Last 2 days, I've been working on this to submit a show contest(a contest to be involved in a show) on Friday( so i will probably change this a little bit later esp. the tree on the right). The theme is "Ground". I took my "ground" as the base of life which i associated with trees.
